"I feel like African American is the worst race in the world," Lil Boosie says, "because first of all, we kill each other."

Lil Boosie says that he does not approve of the streets and prison sentences being used as marketing tools to listeners.

"They hear ‘Free Boosie’ and see me come home after what I came home in and a lot of people glorified it, and that’s the total wrong thing to do,” Lil Boosie, who has been incarcerated, says during an interview with NiteCap with Peter Bailey. "I was fighting the death penalty. What’s cool about that? If 12 jurors woulda said guilty, they’d be frying me.”

Boosie, who released March 4 after serving five years in prison, is preparing his sixth studio album Touch Down 2 Cause Hell.

He says that he has been determined to overcome the poverty, drugs and violence prevalent in Boosie’s hometown of Baton Rouge, Louisiana.

“I just had that Get Rich Or Die Tryin’ attitude way before 50 Cent said it,’” Lil Boosie says. "I always said that Imma make something out of myself."

During the NiteCap with Peter Bailey interview, Boosie also discussed his stance on Blacks and Whites in America.

“I feel like African American is the worst race in the world because, first of all, we kill each other,” he says. “The White man ain’t waiting in your bushes with a choppa. The White man ain’t trying to take the rims off your car. The White man ain’t…. we doin’ this to each other. So how can we say ‘Eff the White man’? He ain’t doin' nothin’ but when we get in trouble. He doin’ his job.”
