If you thought Gustav was bad, more Hurricane's are on the way. |
This hurricane season will not be easy on the Atlantic. As people regain their composure from Hurricane Gustav, reports of five tropical storms in September are surfacing.
Colorado state forecasters William Gray and Phil Klotzbach have predicted that of the five storms, four will become hurricanes. To make matters worst, two will be category 3 or higher, according to National Geographic News.
"We have seen some of the lowest pressure readings on record in the tropical Atlantic during August," Klotzbach said in a statement. "Water temperatures in the tropical Atlantic remain at above-average values.
In the next two weeks, private forecaster Jeff Masters predicted troubling weather.
I don't see any letup over the next two weeks," National Geographic reported Masters said. "There could be two to three active named storms all the time in the Atlantic for the next two weeks." |
