BlazinStreetz got achance to chat with the 2008 Ford Roadies at the Atlanta Classic.

Eight years ago, Ford Motors decided to gas up and hit the road. With a focus on community service and a love for Black college football, the Detroit automaker developed the Black College Roadtrip. Calling upon the help of two successful HBCU graduates seated in the comforts of a stylish Ford, the roadtrip is a annual journey covering 13,000 miles, spanning 92 days, attendance at 12 great football classics, and inspiring hundreds of kids across America in the process.

The Ford community initiative has only grown since that first trip in 2000. Their love of the HBCU experience has intensified. The bonds with wonderful community organizations like Susan G. Komen for the Cure, Meals on Wheels, Big Brothers/ Big Sisters of America among others has been nutured and embraced. The style and cool of incorporated into the Ford autos driven continues to make the Black College Roadtrip the hottest in the country.

The Roadies on Ford's 2008 Black College Roadtrip are true community service ambassadors who exemplify the spirit of HBCU's. Chelsea Wells (Alabama A &M) and Winston Robinson ( Winston Salem St) hit the road this fall in the plush Ford Flex customized by hip hop legend Funk Master Flex.

Blazinstreetz got a chance to hangout with the duo as they were having fun serving the community in Atlanta.
