Blazinstreetz.com writer Brittany Rodgers sits down to speak with Poe Boy Entertainment's own Billy Blue.

Billy Blue, 26, from Miami, Fl., wants to fill in that gap that the public is missing. Now you ask, what is this void that he feels need to filled. "I want to be the one they be like, that n**** saying some real s***", said Blue. Billy wants to take it to another height that he feels hasn?t been reached by that he wants to paint images in your head of the lyrical content that he spits so that you can go through this same voyage with him as he tells it to you.

From the same family that brought you Brisco, Flo Rida and Rick Ross, Billy Blue is also apart of the Poe Boy Entertainment. Blue started in the rap game because he thought it was something to do while on the block, and it was like a hobby to him. He was a means to keep him out of trouble and focused on a particular goal. "I use to listen to other rappers rap, and I said I can do the same thing, I can put words together and rap it", said Blue.

Billy Blue gets his name from his childhood life. He gets Billy from being called "Billy The Kid". "I was the kid that always pulled a gun out for no reason", said Blue. When Blue was 11 years old his mom died. When he would go to school, the white kids always called him blue because he looked blue in the face everyday. His mothers death took a toll on him and had him down at a particular point in his life.

Not only is he signed to Poe Boy, but also to Interscope, Akon's Konvict, and Timberland's label. "It's crazy the way they accept you", said Blue speaking about Poe Boy Entertainment. "They show you this is where you belong, your destination." Blue states Interscope is the label that is catering to him, and Akon and Timberland's labels are introducing him to people in the industry.

"Right now I?m really focused on working with my family(Poe Boy Entertainment)", said Blue. Blue knows he can bring something big home to Poe Boy. He has had many situations placed in front of him but home is where he belongs and Poe Boy Entertainment is his home. They believed in him when no one else did.

With Barack being in office and his vision of change being swept across the nation many have used that as a key to success. When asked about how he feels about Obama being in office, Blue replies, "I am happy to be apart of this generation im hoping for the best from him and praying for his safety."
