The last time we caught wind of Desp1 from Fresh&Fly Customs we were taking a look at his Nike Dynasty Hi creation known as the Ele’Mint. This time, the Creative Director of the customizing firm presents us with a Supra TK Society dubbed “Keffiyeh”.
The last time we caught wind of Desp1 from Fresh&Fly Customs we were taking a look at his Nike Dynasty Hi creation known as the Ele’Mint. This time, the Creative Director of the customizing firm presents us with a Supra TK Society dubbed “Keffiyeh”.
Inspired by the traditional headdress typically worn by Arab men which can now be found around the necks of hipsters looking to make a fashion statement that really makes no sense, Desp1 covered the sneakers in a color combo directly tying into the uniforms of Palestinian soldiers. Avocado Green is used on the side and upper heel panels, while black is seen on the toe and lower heel panels with a Palestinian Keffiyeh pattern incorporated throughout the paneling in grey. Wrapping things up, Desp1 threw in Infrared accents on the heel opening and TK logo to represent the tracer bullets used by Palestinian soldiers that light up the night sky across Palestine.
