Nike Air CB94 "Eggplant"

There’s been an ongoing debate in the sneaker community for quite awhile now when it comes to Foamposite’s. The original Royal Blue version and the Eggplant pair always seem to be battling it out for the top spot as the most popular of them all. The Royal Blue’s may have some bragging rights being the first of the bunch, however, the Eggplant’s may just be able to say they’ve been more inspirational. The purple-ish shade has been applied to a number of different sneakers ever since appearing on the Foamposite One, the latest of which is this Nike Air CB94.

Sir Charles’ old signature sneaker takes on the Eggplant color throughout the entire shoe. The Nike branding and Barkley’s old number (34) on the heel are also finished in the deep purple hue, creating for a tonal design. The metallic detailing under the nubuck overlay gives this Nike Air CB94 just enough from being on the boring side. According to KATC, who supplied the photos, the Eggplant version of the Air CB94 is arriving at House of Hoops now, so if you’ve got one in your area hit em up now to check on availability.
