Along with issuing a new Cincinnati Reds inspired Air Griffey Max 1 in White/Sport Red, Nike will also be bringing back Ken Griffey Jr’s second signature trainer in 2011. TSG  confirmed today that the Air Griffey Max II will see a retro release during the Summer of 2011. The original Seattle Mariners version in Black/Emerald Green which originally released in 1997 is a sure thing. If Nike plans to release any newer colorups to go along with them is unknown at this time, but we’re sure word on the OG pair returning is good enough for fans of the Swingman Series. We’ll keep you posted as further details develop.
