Kanye West announces new album title: 'My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy'

Kanye West took to Twitter this morning to announce the name of his upcoming fifth studio album: My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy. The title Dark Twisted Fantasy had been rumored for months, but now West has made it official with the addition of a personal pronoun and another descriptive adjective. (Allow us a brief interjection from the grammar police: Shouldn’t there be a comma or two in there somewhere?)

West has also said on Twitter that the album will arrive on Nov. 22, a Monday, though his label has yet to formally confirm a title or release date. Can’t wait that long? Look out for the final version of “All of the Lights,” a track that recently leaked in unfinished form and that West promised will be the next single from My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy. West added that the album will include some of the songs he’s given away for free in his “G.O.O.D. Fridays” series this summer and fall.
