Upon Reflection

Flat-panel TVs can hide in credenzas, in ceilings, under beds and behind mirrors. The Pantel Mirror TV functions as a mirror when it is turned off, but when the power goes on a TV image appears.

The Mirror TV is completely waterproof, so it can be used safely in a bathroom without worry that it will be damaged by an accidental spraying from a faucet. An optional wireless transmitter allows beaming of high-definition and standard-def images to the TV and eliminates audio/video cabling for a cleaner look and easier installation.

The Mirror TV is available in four sizes ranging from 20 to 42 inches, and from $1,200 to $5,800 in price. External speakers are included. All of the models can display high-definition video; the three smaller ones have a resolution of 1,366 x 768 pixels, while the 42-inch model offers 1,920 x 1,080-pixel resolution.
