By: awwman.netPosted On: 02/28/2011 3:27 P

Rapper Kid Cudi is changing everything in his life from his number to his record label. Cudi hit Twitter yesterday (February 27th) and revealed that his record label Dream On has been shut down. According to him partners Emile Haynie and Patrick “Plain Pat” Reynolds didn’t share his same vision for the label.

“Pat and Emile are doing their own thing, i wish them well. I have a diff vision, for music, for the world,” Cudi tweeted of Dream On, which released the rapper’s first two albums through G.O.O.D. Music/Universal Motown.

His new label will still be distributed through Kanye’s G.O.O.D. imprint.
“I am still with GOOD music, with that being said im just changin my side of things up a bit. im just doing the right thing, i come from a different place. people lose sight of the mission. cant expect everyone to be built like me,” Kid Cudi tweeted.

He also said the he already has a name for the new label, but hasn’t revealed it until he can lock the name in legally.

“This is a day to rejoice, this isnt bad news. things are gonna be so epic, im like a kid on xmas eve im so excited bout this new chapter.” twittered Cudi.
