While many people are hopeful that the NFL's lockout could end today (July 21st), Philadelphia Eagles' Asante Samuels is planning a backup career as a rapper, just in case.

Video recently surfaced of Asante Samuels in the recording studio laying down vocals on a track with Broward County, Florida rappers, Goons United by the New School.

The Philadelphia Eagles Cornerback and 2010 Pro Bowler drops a verse on the track "Overtime" with the group.

However, Samuels career as a rapper may never take off, as NFL owners are slated to approve a final agreement with players today, to end the NFL lockout between owners and players, that has been going on since March.

G.U.N.S. recently dropped a new mixtape titled "iPod Musik."
