Goodie Mob member/extravagant rapper Cee Lo Green has announced he's taking of residency in Las Vegas with his own strip show titled "Loberace," a tribute to musical icon Liberace.
Goodie Mob member/extravagant rapper Cee Lo Green has announced he's taking of residency in Las Vegas with his own strip show titled "Loberace," a tribute to musical icon Liberace.
Cee Lo Green dropped the news during an appearance on the "today show" with Matt Lahr yesterday (July 22), but revealed little other details about the production.
"I wanted to do something new and fresh for this generation," Cee Lo Green told "Today Show" host Matt Lauer. "I don’t think anyone from my generation has got the opportunity to do something monumentous like that. I would like to do something exceptional. The way that I feel about myself and the way that my career is going, it makes sense."
According to reports, Cee Lo's show will be inspired by Liberace's stage show, which also ran on the Las Vegas strip.
