The March 12th project from Action Bronson and Party Supplies becomes a freebie, thanks to Complex and Reebok.
This morning (February 29), Queens, New York emcee Action Bronson announced that his project with Party Supplies, called Blue Chips, will be a free project released on March 12. In a statement, Bronson explained the work as, "We didn't over-think it, we just had fun making music with no pressures of making a 'hit song,' clearing of samples or sales expectations."
Songs released thus far include "Contemporary Man," "Tapas" and "Mistletoe (Remix)." It is not yet confirmed if any of those collaborations will appear on Blue Chips.
The release is sponsored by Reebok and the Complex. In recent months, Complex has also sponsored tapes by Mobb Deep's Prodigy.
Last year Action Bronson released Dr. Lecter (winner of HipHopDX's 2011 Slept-On Album Of The Year Award) and Well Done with Statik Selektah.
