Mobb Deep To Kick Off 20th Anniversary Tour In New York

Exclusive: Recently reunited, Prodigy and Havoc will be joined by Waka Flocka Flame and Heems in June for some "murda muzik" in Manhattan.

Today, Mobb Deep's management announced to HipHopDX that the duo of Prodigy and Havoc are planning their 20th anniversary tour. Twenty years ago this month, the Queens tandem released Juvenile Hell on 4th & Broadway Records. The album boasted production from Large Professor and DJ Premier, and featured longtime affiliate Big Noyd.

While dates are still pending, following Mobb's appearance at last month's Paid Dues Festival in California, the Infamous Records team confirmed a June 20 show in New York.

At Midtown Manhattan's Best Buy Theatre, P and Hav will be joined by Waka Flocka Flame and former Das Racist member Heems.

This appearance follows an April 2012 public and controversial falling out between Mobb Deep's founders, causing the group to go on a brief hiatus. Prodigy and Havoc have since reconciled, and are said to be recording an eighth studio album. There has not been a studio full-length from the pair since 2006's Blood Money, on G-Unit/Interscope Records
