Kelly Rowland announces the release date for her upcoming album, "Talk A Good Game."
Kelly Rowland, who was recently named on People's Most Beautiful Woman of 2013 list, has revealed a release date for her upcoming album, Talk A Good Game.
The album, which she worked on with artists like The-Dream and Pharrell, Wiz Khalifa, and former Destiny's Child groupmates Beyonce and Michelle Williams, is arriving on June 4th. She'll celebrate the release of the LP with a performance on ABC's "Good Morning America" the same week, Rap-Up reports.
Kelly spoke to Billboard about the album, and narrowing down her 70-something songs to just 12. "I think I recorded around 70-something songs for this album. I had to narrow it down to 12 – you know hard that is!" Kelly said. "Especially when you’re in love, like your heart pumps for 35 of them. I kept going back and forth with my A&R and my manager, we’ve all been on this incredible journey together, and they’re just like ‘Save it for the next album!’ Because you just get so passionate and excited about these songs, you lived with them, you birthed them along with the producers. You become so attached."
She'll also be taking her music on the road for a co-headlining tour with The-Dream. The tour dates have yet to be announced, but it will take place this summer.
