Ja Rule is a free man after serving time for possession of an illegal firearm and tax evasion.
Just as Lauryn Hill receives her sentencing for tax evasion charges, Ja Rule finishes serving his own tax evasion sentence. This morning the rapper was released from jail, according to a tweet from N.O.R.E. aka P.A.P.I.
Ja Rule finished serving time for his gun charge back in March, but quickly re-entered prison that same day at the Brooklyn's Metropolitan Detention Center to serve time for tax evasion. He was supposed to be out on July 28th, however, it seems he got out a tad early, and word is he will be on house arrest until July.
Welcome home Ja.
