Ludacris To Release Mixtape The Same Day As "The Fast & Furious 6" Premieres

Ludacris' acting and music will cross-promote later this month, as he plans DTP's latest mixtape the same day his new film comes to theaters.
Since April, Atlanta, Georgia star rapper-turned-actor Ludacris has unveiled free music courtesy of his I.D.A.F.F. campaign, short for "I Don't Give A Fuck Friday's." In a new interview with XXL, the New Years Eve star revealed that this new music likely belongs to a complete body of work.
The mixtape is coming out the same day as [Fast & Furious 6]. May 24," revealed the longtime Def Jam Records star, and founder of his own DTP imprint. "Then my album Ludaversal will be out sometime in the fall, around September." While Ludaversal is the longtime title for 'Cris' eighth solo album, his mixtape is believed to be called, DTP Records Presents...I Don't Give A Fuck.
Ludacris' "Rest Of My Life," which features Usher and David Guetta, will appear on the Fast & Furious 6 soundtrack, which also releases on May 24.
Ludacris will reprise his role in the film as Tej Parker. Ludacris appeared in 2 Fast 2 Furious, and 2011's Fast Five prior to his third casting in the street racing franchise.
