The relationships between high profile rappers and NBA ball players is well-documented as they often support each other by showing up to their events.  Back in February, Lil Wayne made headlines around All Star weekend when he put several members of the Miami Heat on blast while he was on stage.

This came after Weezy was asked to leave a Heat where he reportedly made threatening gestures at a fan.  The YMCMB rapper was also upset when the NBA denied his request to be involved in the Dunk Contest during a Gerald Green dunk.  It all culminated with him taking the stage and saying “F**k the NBA,” and “F**k the Miami Heat.” Tunechi then made things personal when he said “F**k She-Wade,” and of course as you know he added, “I f**ked Chris Bosh wife.”

All this animosity seems to have been forgotten by Wayne, as on a recent interview with Jimmy Kimmel he says that LeBron James reached out to him while he was in the hospital with “seizure-like symptoms.”  Weezy then clarified that he was not banned by the Heat, “It’s not true, I didn’t get banned, they did tell me I’m allowed back whenever I want...I don’t think they want me there, so I won’t make it hard on either of us.

To Kimmel’s credit he even asked Lil Wayne about the claim that he hooked up with Bosh’s wife.  Wayne acted confused (or possibly legitimately was), asking, “I said that.” Then playfully adding, “I was too turnt up that night.”
