King L Explains How His Verse Came Together On Kanye West's "Send It Up"

King L says the he freestyled the verse that Kanye ended up using for "YEEZUS"
Kanye West will release his sixth studio album Yeezus next week and everyone is scrambling for details regarding the project's creation.
'Ye released the single "Send it Up" off the album yesterday with fellow Chicago rapper King L contributing his verse to the song. Just hours after the track was released, MTV News talked with King L (via Skype) about his feature and how the two came together.
“I had woke up and it was just a freestyle verse off the top and that turned out to be the one he was really rocking with," King L said. "Just genuine bars.”
The Windy City native also said that the track changed between the time that he had recorded the song and when he heard it pre-release.
"The beat changed and what was part of my hook became the actual chorus so it was dope," he said. "It was just one, two instruments and that was a whole party thing."
This is not the first time the two artists have crossed paths on wax. Kanye West remixed Chief Keef's "I Don't Like," within which he shouted out King L among other Chi-Town rappers LEP Bogus Boyz, Jay Boogie and Chief Keef.
