Stevie J names Kendrick Lamar, French Montana, and Big Sean as his current favorites, speaks on possibly working with Lil Scrappy.

A brawl between Atlanta rapper Lil Scrappy and noted producer Stevie J during the first season of “Love & Hop: Atlanta,” proved to be one of the more dramatic additions to the inaugural season of the Mona Scott-Young produced reality show.

While speaking exclusively with Vlad TV, Stevie J revealed that it’s been quite some time since he moved past the fight, which took place in the parking lot of an Atlanta recording studio, and also involved “Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta” cast mates Joseline Hernandez and Erica Dixon.

“As a man, I was taught by my dad, you make a mess you gotta clean it up. At the end of the day, I apologized to that cat. I’ve been through big beefs in my life, in my history,” Stevie explained.

Stevie even spoke on his willingness to record with Scrappy who he feels needs to “take his career to the next level.”

“I don’t have no problems with him,” he revealed. “I’d rather make a hit record with him or for him and just keep it pushing. I’m sure we could make that happen. I mean, it’s time for him to take his career to the next level, I believe. And I hope the people in his corner feel the same way and make history out of it.”

On top of the title of newfound reality TV star, Stevie J also boasts the title of songwriter and producer. The “Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta” star produced a number of records for the late Notorious B.I.G., including “Mo Money Mo Problems” and “Notorious Thugs,” as a member of the Bad Boy Entertainment production team.
