For the second time in nine months, SpaceGhostPurrp posts a Facebook message, this time by his manager, that indicates he's strictly staying behind the boards and away from the booth.

Last year, South Florida emcee/producer SpaceGhostPurrp released his one and only album, Mysterious Phonk: The Chronicles Of SpaceGhostPurrp. The album was released by famed Indie Rock label 4AD, and featured a retail version of the tracks previously available for free by the onetime producer for A$AP Rocky, Juicy J and Domo Genesis.

Now, in a Facebook post, 'Purrp says that he is hanging up the microphone. With his manager Kadafi as his spokesman, the Raider Klan member says he is going to focus solely on production.

"Public Announcement SPACEGHOSTPURRP MUNEY JORDAN will only stick to producing he will not be rappin. This is his CEO Kadafi , if Y'all need beats Hit up spaceghostpurrp email @ GODBLACK52@YAHOO.COM

SO LOOK OUT FOR SPACEGHOSTPURRP NEW VIDEO DROPPING THIS WEEK CALLED KNOW BOUT ME FT DOUGHX2 .. !!!"

In October of last year, SpaceGhostPurrp made a similar promise. At that point, he wrote, also on Facebook, "Just want [sic] yall to know that threw these past 3 years from making music 4 yall i had fun mynigga. i had a good year this year and showed niggas i can still be successful by myself since the beginning it was good to see alot of celebs be on my wave this year it was cool as fuck[.]"

Other emcee/producers to make a similar decision include Show (p/k/a Showbiz) from Showbiz & A.G. and D.I.T.C. Following the group's acclaimed 1992 album Runaway Slave, the Bronx, New York native did not rap on the duo's subsequent two albums.
