In addition to his upcoming collaborative album with Big K.R.I.T., Yelawolf announces plans for a Heavy Metal/Hard Rock-inspired album with Three 6 Mafia's DJ Paul.

On 2011's Radioactive, Yelawolf worked with former Three 6 Mafia member Gangsta Boo on the song "Throw It Up." Now, Yela has announced his plans to work more extensively with the Hypnotize Minds camp. Late yesterday (July 22), the Gadsen, Alabama emcee announced that he is doing a full album with Three 6's co-founder DJ Paul.

"The Legendary DJ Paul of Three 6 [Mafia] and I have decided to do an Album," wrote the Shady/Ghet-O-Vision/Interscope Records artist on Instagram, from a Nashville, Tennessee studio. He also added that the album will use "All Heavy Metal and Hard Rock samples."

DJ Paul, who, with Juicy J, has produced for UGK, Santigold and Lil Flip, has recently announced his latest group, Da Mafia 6ix. The crew includes Gangsta Boo, Lord Infamous, Crunchy Black and other former members of the Academy Award-winning Memphis, Tennessee group.

In the post, Yelawolf affirmed his plans for a Country Cousins collaborative album with Big K.R.I.T. still in the works. Last year, Catfish Billy released Psycho White, with Blink 182 drummer/producer Travis Barker.
