Over a nine-week series, the University of Wisconsin, one of the largest schools in the country, will devote time to the scholarship and art of hip hop.
The institution will call on famous writers and professors from all over the country to speak on a number of topics, ranging from sociology, history, communication arts and women's studies.
Some of the esteemed guests scheduled to come to the Madison campus include writer Jeff Change, feminist Rachel Raimist and Drake University's Mark Anthony Neal.
