2 Chainz apologizes to "No Lie" collaborator Drake and Toronto concertgoers for OVO Fest, and blames two hours of "harassment."
Frequent Drake collaborator 2 Chainz (p/k/a Tity Boi) was one of the expected guests at 2013's OVO Fest. The Drake-led festival was originally planned for a two-day event featuring Frank Ocean, James Blake, and Drake, but was reduced to a one-day affair following Ocean's vocal chord injury.
An unannounced guest, 2 Chainz was scheduled to perform on August 5. However, according to the Def Jam Records star gearing up for his sophomore B.O.A.T.S. 2: Me Time next month, was held by what is believed to be border patrol.
Dear Toronto, u guys r beautiful people here, but the over exaggerated harassment, kept me for 2hrs,& I missed OVO. Apologies to @Drake & fans
2 Chainz publicly apologized to Drake and OVO concertgoers yesterday (August 6). The Playaz Circle co-founder claimed that he was held for over two hours, and harassed.
