One week from today, on August 26, a litany of Hip Hop luminaries will celebrate the 30-year anniversary of the seminal culture film, Wild Style. As part of New York City's "This Is Hip-Hop" Summer series, Fab 5 Freddy & Charlie Ahearn's film will be screened in its entirety at Manhattan's East River Park. The 6pm EST event is free and open to the public.
On hand will be the famous director and veejay, Fab 5 Freddy, as well as those involved with the film including Busy Bee, Lee, Lady Pink, The Cold Crush Brothers, as well as Rodney C, Patti Astor, Grand Wizard Theodore, Lisa Lee, and the Rocksteady Crew.
