Ab-Soul speaks on his own struggles and says, "Pressure busts pipes or makes diamonds."

Black Hippy members Jay Rock and Kendrick Lamar have released critically acclaimed studio albums and ScHoolboy Q's Oxymoron is among this year's most eagerly awaited collections. Ab-Soul, the fourth member of Black Hippy, is also working on his next project.

"Right now I am crafting something," Ab-Soul says during On the Road Budweiser Made in America, a video series leading up to this year's Budweiser Made In America Festival. "I just don't know how I want to present it to the people just yet, but, pressure busts pipes or makes diamonds."

The rapper shares his positive outlook on life and how his experiences will be one that "you'll eventually tell your grandkids."

"I enjoy life, man," Ab-Soul says. "I enjoy every minute of this. Even before this, even before yawl came through, I enjoyed it. I enjoyed the pursuit, the good times, the bad times, you know what I mean. You know honestly, the best stories are the people who overcome the most conflicts. So I mean, in a crazy kind of way, you kind of want to roll with the punches a bit."
In the documentary, ScHoolboy Q says that he was broke upon joining TDE, and now basks in the fact that he can provide for his daughter through his success as a rapper. "You finally see how your momma feel," ScHoolboy Q says. "My mom always got the job done. I didn't know I was broke until I was like in high school. She kept it low-key the whole time."
