Exclusive: Joey Fatts talks about working with 9th wonder. He also discusses his Freddie Gibbs-assisted track "Need More" and his upcoming work with A$AP Mob.

Long Beach, California's Joey Fatts recently released the video for "Need More," a collaboration with Freddie Gibbs. Fatts spoke with HipHopDX about how his collaboration with Gibbs came to fruition. 

"Me and Freddie have a lot of mutual friends," Fatts said in an exclusive statement to HipHopDX. "His [deejay], DJ Izzo, is my nigga. He overheard me talking about Freddie one day and was like, 'Man, I wanna see y'all on a track together.' He linked us up and Gibbs rocked with me. [Freddie Gibbs is a] real stand up guy."

"Need More" details Fatts' yearning for additional resources in life, something he also discussed with HipHopDX. 

"I'm not letting up until the people around me and myself have what they deserve," Fatts said about the song's message. "We've been struggling so long. You know? So 'Need More' [means] I'm never satisfied and always trying to be better and achieve more."
