Justin Timberlake's "The 20/20 Experience, 2 Of 2" Projected To Top Charts

Justin Timberlake and Drake are projected to go 1 and 2 on Billboard's 200 albums chart.

Album sales projections are in for the week ending Sunday, October 6. Although final results regarding Billboard's Top 200 chart won't be available until Wednesday (October 9), projections show Justin Timberlake is set to top charts once again. 

According to projections from Billboard, Justin Timberlake is set to debut at #1 for the second time this year. His The 20/20 Experience, 2 of 2 is forecast to sell 350,000 copies in its first week. His first release of 2013, The 20/20 Experience scanned 968,000 copies in its first week, according to Nielsen SoundScan. It holds the record for the largest sales week of the year, and is the biggest-selling album of 2013 scanning approximately 2.3 million copies to date.

Drake, who held the #1 spot last week is projected to land at #2 this week. He's projected to sell 150,000 copies of Nothing Was the Same for the week. The Toronto native's newest effort was the only Rap/R&B album in the Top 10 the week of its release. 2010's Thank Me Later sold 447,000 units its first week and 2011's Take Care sold approximately 631,000 copies its first week.

Songstress Lorde is on track to land at #3 on the charts. Her song "Royals" landed the top spot on the Billboard Hot 100 songs chart. Her album Pure Heroine is expected to move 110,000 to 120,000 copies this week.

Nelly ended up on the opposite end of the spectrum when it comes to sales. Hitting a projected career low, M.O. is expected to sell 12,000-15,000 copies its first week according to the St. Louis Post-Dispatch.
