After serving ten years in prison, Shyne is scheduled was scheduled to be released from jail Tuesday after a serving nine years of a ten year sentence for shooting inside a New York City club.
After serving ten years in prison, Shyne is scheduled was scheduled to be released from jail Tuesday after a serving nine years of a ten year sentence for shooting inside a New York City club.
MTV's Jayson Rodriguez broke the news that Shyne's release is being held up over his Immigration status. Shyne's lawyer Oscar Michelen told MTV that Shyne was being held in federal custody while his immigration status was determined.
Though Shyne represents Brooklyn, he was born in Belize and is a convicted felon which is why he may be deported upon release.
