Jay Z and Beyonce slated to take the stage for Beyonce's first performance since her self-titled surprise release, says Billboard.

Jay Z and Beyonce are slated to perform at this year's Grammy Awards, an event scheduled to take place Sunday (January 26) in Los Angeles, California, says Billboard. 

Billboard reports that the married couple's performance was confirmed in a CBS commercial for the Grammy Awards. Macklemore & Ryan Lewis and Kendrick Lamar are set to perform at the event, as well.

Jay Z and Beyonce are not listed as performers on the Grammy website.

Beyonce's Grammy Awards performance is slated to be her first televised performance since the surprise release of her self-titled album, which dropped December 13. The album has surpassed the 1.5 million mark in sales, according to Nielsen SoundScan. 

Jay Z has nine nominations at this year's ceremony, the most nominations of any artist this year.
