With so many new artists emerging from the South and the South holding its ground for rule of the rap game right now, you may not have noticed two of the South's leading men missing from the scene. But any true fan of hip hop has the release of this dynamic duo's next album on their list of the top five most-anticipated albums to come. And according to OutKast's Big Boi, the wait may soon be over.
With so many new artists emerging from the South and the South holding its ground for rule of the rap game right now, you may not have noticed two of the South's leading men missing from the scene. But any true fan of hip hop has the release of this dynamic duo's next album on their list of the top five most-anticipated albums to come. And according to OutKast's Big Boi, the wait may soon be over.
Big Boi recently spoke with iHipHop and informed them that in the works are three new albums from the famed duo. First up will be the release of Big Boi's newest LP, Lucious Leftfoot Son of Chico Dusty. This forthcoming effort will feature the likes of T.I, Mary J. Blige, Andre 3000, Raekwon and more.
Andre 3000 will follow Big Boi's project with a solo endeavor of his own. After the two have released their solo projects, fans can expect the group to link back up for which is sure to be another spectacular OutKast album.
"Y'all gonna get three records from me and Dre in the next two years," says Big Boi.
