Kendrick Lamar Says DMX Has One Of His Favorite Verses Of All Time

Kendrick Lamar also discusses launching his own label while praising J. Cole for his Dreamville imprint.
Kendrick Lamar said that creating his own label is something he wants to do.
"god willing,” Kendrick Lamar wrote during a Q&A session with fans on Facebook yesterday. "when im ready. shout out to cole. huge step.”
Earlier this week, J. Cole announced his Dreamville label with Interscope.
As for his favorite verse of all time, Kendrick Lamar said that one of them is included on DMX’s second album from 1998, Flesh Of My Flesh Blood Of My Blood.
"good one,” Kendrick Lamar wrote. "too many to think of. first one that comes to mind is dmx "im slippin'...first verse."
The Compton rapper said that he realized he was about to blow when he was embraced by a Southern California rap legend.
"when snoop [dogg] took me under his wing on stage,” the TDE rapper said. "a moment."
