50 Cent's SMS Audio has announced that its Sports Collection is now available.
“We created durable, quality headphones that hold up against any active lifestyle – equipped with sweat-proof features that our partner, NBA All-Star Carmelo Anthony, and I felt other headphones didn’t offer,” 50 Cent said, according to BusinessWire. “We’re both very pleased with the final result and can’t wait to get them in consumers’ hands."
The company has the following items available. They are listed below, along with the company's description and price.
On-Ear Wired Sport: Foldable with perforated leather memory foam for breathability, a sweat-proof chamber within the ear cup and rubberized coating to resist chipping and scratches. MSRP $179.95.
In-Ear Wired Sport: Features stay-put, ear-hook design, tangle-free cord with three-click mic, and extra hooks and sound-isolation ear tips. MSRP $79.95.
On-Ear Wireless Sport: Bluetooth with on-ear control, perforated leather memory foam for breathability, sweat-proof chamber and rubberized coating to resist chipping and scratches. MSRP $229.95.
In-Ear Wireless Sport: Features Bluetooth, patented ear-hook design and HD battery for extended life with extra hooks and sound-isolation ear tips. MSRP $149.95.
These headphones are available in three colors, Sport Blue, Sport Pink and Sport Yellow.
Recently, 50 Cent and Carmelo Anthony spoke regarding their partnership, Beats By Dre and SMS Audio.
"You get to a broad level where everybody’s owned Beats,” 50 Cent said at the time. “[Everyone] goes, 'OK that’s cool, everybody has that — I want to try something else; I’ve had that already.'
"It’s like when you buy a car," 50 Cent added. "You get a new car. You buy aftermarket parts. You create a new identity. You have a brand new vehicle, but you want different seats, different things to make the car yours."
