Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon are set to divorce, according to TMZ.
The couple separated in May, live separately and have lawyers working on a settlement and custody paperwork, the report says.
A recent radio interview was a point of contention for the couple, according to TMZ. The publication says Nick Cannon’s interview with Los Angeles, California radio station Power 106’s Big Boy’s Neighborhood featured a segment in which Cannon revealed celebrities he’s had sex with. One of them was Kim Kardashian, a fact Mariah Carey reportedly was particularly mad about.
Cannon also spoke in an interview with Howard Stern about not having sex with Carey before their wedding. This also reportedly upset the singer.
Another point of contention, the report states, has been Nick Cannon’s work schedule.
Cannon and Carey reportedly sold their Bel-Air mansion for $10 million, as reported last month.
Nick Cannon is reportedly not allowed to speak about the couple's divorce, according to a report by TMZ.
The website reports that a source says the couple's confidentiality agreement doesn't allow Cannon to say anything about the divorce.
However, the site says Carey can announce the divorce on her terms.
