A five-part miniseries is scheduled to cover Snoop Dogg and his high-school son's life in football.

With his Snoop Youth Football League still growing and churning out new college and pro prospects every year, Snoop Dogg will star in a new reality-based miniseries about his son Cordell Broadus and his high-school football team the Bishop Gorman High School Gaels.

Snoop's son, a six-foot-two star wide receiver for the team, is currently being recruited by a handful of college football programs and has offers out from the likes of Arizona State, Baylor, Duke, LSU, and more. The new show, titled Snoop & Son: A Dad's Dream, chronicles the rapper and his son's life in football in a half-hour format and will air for four Wednesday nights in a row at 7:00 p.m. ET on ESPN beginning on January 14. A final episode of the miniseries will air separately in mid-February.

In the show's recently released promo, Snoop speaks about his relationship with his son as one based on friendship.

"I'm more of a friend than I am a father," Snoop says. "A father to me is someone disciplinary who you really scared of. It's fear and respect. It's more just love with me."
