Late last year, it was revealed that Canadian singer/rapper Drake would assist in redesigning the Toronto Raptors franchise as part of his global ambassador partnership with the team, but it now appears that he may have been left out of a redesign of the Raptors new logo.
According to BallOverAll.com, the Raptors announced that their new logo is a "'Drake-inspired" design. Despite the team’s announcement that the logo was "Drake-inspired," the Young Money rapper says the redesign was executed without his assistance.
He made the reveal in a tweet sent over the weekend.
