Although his status with Cash Money Records remains unknown, Lil Wayne recently took time to join Migos in the studio.
Despite the recent happenings involving his label situation, Young Money rapper Lil Wayne was recently pictured in the recording studio. In the pictures, which were posted to Lil Wayne's Instagram profile and LilWayneHQ.com, Wayne was spotted with Atlanta, Georgia-based rap group, Migos.
The Louisiana lyricist added the following caption to his studio picture with the group: "No sleep sh!t"
The rapper was also pictured with Migos earlier this week at Miami, Florida nightclub LIV. That particular picture was uploaded to Weezy's Instagram account on December 29. It's unclear what project Lil Wayne's collaboration with Migos will be featured on, if any, but the wordsmith is preparing to release both a mixtape and his Tha Carter V album in the future.
In regards to Lil Wayne's label situation, it was last reported that the rapper is considering taking legal action against Cash Money Records in the hopes of being dropped from the label.
