Tyga ordered to pay a Beverly Hills jeweler for items he never paid for or returned.
Following news of Tyga being sued for just under $100,000 in 2013 for unpaid jewelry, a California judge has recently ordered the Young Money emcee to pay more than $200,000 to the Beverly Hills jeweler who is owed money.
In September of 2013, XXL reported that Tyga owed more than $90,000 to celebrity jeweler Jason Arasheben for nonpayment of a diamond watch and Cuban link chain which was allegedly lent to the rapper but never returned. In September, the Beverly Hills jeweler filed a suit against Tyga for slightly more than double the original amount owed.
According to a recent post by TMZ, Tyga has been ordered to pay $208,334.47 stemming from a California judge’s default judgement against the artist and in favor of Arasheben. TMZ also reports that a representative for the rapper has called the suit “a misunderstanding” with the claim that steps are being taken to come to an agreement.
