Chief Keef was pulled over in Illinois for having expired tags on his 2010 Jeep Cherokee and was subsequently arrested for DUI March 5 after he failed a field sobriety test, according to TMZ.
He was released on $300 bail.
The Chicago rapper had been out of rehab for less than two weeks at the time of the arrest.
Chief Keef was also charged with driving on a suspended license and was cited for having no proof of insurance.
Last month, Chief Keef was at Wavelengths Recovery, a private sober-living home in Orange County California where he served a 90-day rehab sentence for testing positive for marijuana while on probation for a gun charge.
