Stabbing Follows Chris Brown Performance

Law enforcement officials are reportedly looking to ban Chris Brown from performing in nightclubs.

An individual was stabbed following a Chris Brown performance yesterday (September 22), according to TMZ.

Law enforcement officials say the stabbing was related to Brown and his entourage, according to the report.

The victim is reportedly expected to make a full recovery.

The stabbing occurred during a fight following Brown’s performance at Supperclub in Hollywood, California, an event billed as an after-party for Lil Wayne and Drake’s tour stop in Los Angeles’ Hollywood Bowl.

Los Angeles Police Department officials are reportedly trying to have Chris Brown banned from performing in night clubs, the report says. “When Brown and his people show, we know what’s going to happen,” one anonymous law enforcement source says in the report. “It’s a headache for us.”

Despite this, the report also adds that Brown has not been an instigator of violence and that police believe that the problems stem from him and his entourage.

Three people were shot during an August party Chris Brown hosted at a different Hollywood nightclub, 1OAK. One of the three people who was shot was Suge Knight.

Law enforcement officials also looked into that incident at the time, as well as possible gang-related issues that may have influenced the shootings. Brown addressed this incident with the following statement at the time.

"Chris hosted an event in Los Angeles last night to celebrate the upcoming release of his album X, during which an incident occurred," Brown's rep said in a statement to Billboard. "This incident did not involve Chris; he was merely the host of the event. He has and will continue to cooperate with the investigation."
