Queen Latifah’s career achievements are highlighted in “5 Ways Queen Latifah Changed The Game.”
“Singer, songwriter, rapper, actress, comedienne, and now talk-show host–there’s no denying that Queen Latifah is a multimedia icon,” the Pepsi Pulse list says. "Starting off her career in Hip Hop, Latifah moved on to make an incredible mark in both film and TV, and has played a major role as a humanitarian, among many other things.”
The list also champions the New Jersey rapper-singer’s work in film.
