A new list shines light on the city of Detroit, home to some of Hip Hop's hungriest and most determined emcees and producers, including Royce Da 5'9 and Danny Brown.

green-label.com has detailed “Detroit’s Impact On Hip Hop Culture,” a list paying homage to the Motor City’s most important participants, whether they’re household names or just starting to gain steam.

Eminem is among the acts included on the list.

“The very definition of a hometown hero, Eminem is not only the rap act most associated with Detroit but he has changed the general perception of Hip Hop altogether,” the piece says. "Having released his seventh consecutive multi-platinum album last year, he has been one of Rap’s ultimate rags to riches stories."

Others to proudly carry the flag for Detroit include Big Sean and party animal Danny Brown.
