The Toronto Rapper will feature his brand in his hometown.
Drake has an OVO store in the works. He previewed the store on his Instagram account on Friday (November 21). The owl logo serves as the sign on a brick building.
“Proud of my guy @oliverelkhatib OVO Store opening soon #6Side,” reads the caption.
Oliver El-Khatib is Drake’s creative director and reports that he is overseeing the project.
This summer, Drake held the fifth OVO Fest, which was a two-day event for the first time.
Performers included OutKast, Lauryn Hill, 50 Cent and Bun B.
Drake also hosted Houston Appreciation Weekend, which featured an OVO popup
shop.
The rapper’s forthcoming album, Views from the 6, has yet to receive a release date..
