Nearly 40% more men have enrolled in the school's fashion design program since Kanye began teaching.
If his recent commercial efforts in the industry weren't enough, Kanye West might think about falling back on teaching.
According to a new report from TMZ, the LA Trade Technical College where Ye has been teaching fashion as a part of his court-mandated community service has seen a significant spike in male students enrolling in the fashion design program. The site reports that nearly 40% more men have enrolled in the program since Kanye began his sporadic teaching there last May.
TMZ also reports that West has gone as far as assigning projects and offering mentorship to certain class members.
West began teaching at the LA Trade Technical College after pleading no-contest in March of 2014 to a battery charge stemming from a physical altercation with a photographer at LAX. The rapper is set to complete his court-mandated public service at the school in June.
